Creative direction and content production for the Sassoon Now II AW21 Collection
The Brief
Creating an Instagram lookbook campaign for the Sassoon Now II AW21 Collection.
The Problem
Creating content at scale and planning 6 months’ worth of content with no existing assets to be used.
The Insight
Sassoon is all about precision hairstyles, inspired by geometric shapes, so our content had to reflect the craftsmanship at the core of the brand.
The Solution
I worked closely with the Sassoon hairstylists to understand the inspiration behind the new collection and their final looks. I then worked on the art direction and planning of a photoshoot to capture all the content needed, from haircuts details, to product packshots, and the final looks.
With the help of a design team, we brought in dynamic movements through motion assets and created an Instagram grid layout, rolling across 6 months.
The Result
Keeping the precision of haircuts and the geometry of colour at the heart, I built social-first content in a complete 6-month lookbook for Sassoon’s Instagram feed.
